Thank You

No flowery words, just want to say thank you.
Plain and simple!
I am so grateful for this amazing land that I live in!
I love America.

Thank you to our Founding Fathers, to past presidents who helped make America great. Thank you to all who have fought long and hard to keep us free, and to help others have the same freedoms that we have.

Thank you Heavenly Father for allowing me to live in this beautiful place.

I hope that I live up to this blessing. I hope I am able to do MY part to keep America great.

GOD bless America!

Nothing Tastes Better Than...

HOME GROWN TOMATOES!!!

These plants are MUCH bigger now, but I can't find the pictures! :)
We've been picking and picking and picking.

(little helpers!)

And picking All those tomatoes leads to canning All those tomatoes!

(blanching)

(peeling)

(filling the jars)

(processing)

(the finished product!)

So far I've processed 28 jars (4 batches!) The tomatoes are still ripening! So I think I'll have at least 4 more to do! My goal is to put up 52 jars! *fingers crossed*

It's been a successful garden season!

I Love to See The Temple

We took a day off school early May and went to see the Gila Valley temple.
It was beautiful! I was so impressed with how organized the tour was.
There was a special feeling in the temple and the sweetest spirit.
It was fun to be with Grandma and Grandpa Moore and spend the day with them.
Even Heather took the day off work and went with us! We had lots of fun making memories!

On Sunday, May 23rd we got to be apart of the Temple Dedication via satellite. It was awesome. I know it helped to have seen the temple ourselves. President Monson was so cute. It was a beautiful sabbath day witnessing the dedication and hearing about temples and families and knowing how important this all is!

Class of 2010

Graduation was awesome!
Heidi graduated from Mountain View High School
on Thursday - May 27th.
The weather was amazingly cool.
A first for graduation.
At least the ones I've attended!
On Friday we had a big party to celebrate! It was lots of fun!
Here are some pictures to illustrate the fun!

Seminary Graduation

Grandma & Grandpa Moore with Heidi

I'm so proud of Heidi for graduating from Seminary! I know it means she had to take A hour classes to fit it in. But I see the benefit that will last her whole life time!
Love you Heidi!

Prom 2010

Heidi got asked to prom by a friend and neighbor, Kyle Hathcock!
We had lots of fun finding a dress, picking just the right jewelry and
figuring out how to do her hair!

Sweet Hillary did her hair. Heidi glittered her toes! And now she is already to go! Beautiful corsage! They had lots of fun.
Oh, the memories!

My Sweet Grad!

What more can I say? Heidi's graduating.
Number 3 done with High School.
Where has the time gone?

I feel like this one will fly from the nest
sooner than the others.
It stresses me out to think about it.

But I am so proud of her
and the person she has become!
She is amazing - she amazes me every day.

I love her laugh, her sense of humor
and her creativeness.
I am constantly in awe of her.

I love you Heidi.

PS - If you are around and would like - we'd love to have you come celebrate with us. Check out the invite!
